Turner Prize 2008: and the winner is…………………Mark Leckey

Oh the suspense is absolutely killing me….

Sir Nicholas Serota introduced 2008 Turner Prize at the Tate Britain with Nick Cave presenting the coveted award.

And the winner…..is (drum roll please) Mark Leckey…………..

Funny, there were 3 women and 1 bloke…and Leckey gets the prize.

In saying that, I kinda liked his film but I don’t think he was the strongest candidate for the prize but his interview on C4 News after winning was amusing especially as he called British art critics as liking ‘middle brow art’ therefore ‘sod ‘em’…..

Though he’s ‘chuffed to bits’ to have won.
