Both Paul and Dave Osler have both gone to town, splendidly dripping in mockery, on this article by Yasmin Alibhai-Brown. I mean, where do you start..?
Posh nosh at the liberal hand-wringing intelligentsia dinner parties with Frank Field as your dining companion.
Fandabidozi!
Spouting forth about those ‘workless’ scroungers who are bleeding the welfare state dry between the starter and main…with copious amounts of organic wine from Waitrose and/or Oddbins quaffed.
Getting the butler to chase away ’workshy’ oiks with their noses pressed up against the outside window (‘I say, Jeeves, get those rascals away from the window, they are frightening the ladies!’) watching you devour the melt-in-your-mouth exquisite chocolate ganache while pontificating about the merits of public spending cuts and the importance of workhouses….
Here an idea Yasmin, bit short but to the point and unlike the mind numbingly dense conversations you seem to have at these chi-chi dinner parties….. screw the rich not the poor….!

Very good conclusion.

Funny how these dinner parties never result in discussions about how it is that the government borrowed loads of money on our behalf to bail out the banks?
There must be something wrong with the guests – everyone I know is pissed off about banksters and crooked MPs. No ones fooled as to who started this crisis or who should carry the pain – you break it, you pay for it.
Thanks Renegade.
Charlie, indeed….and am tempted to ask for an invite…
