As one of the working class post-war generation that benefitted from a grammar school education and continued to work for re-distribution of wealth and life chances in Britain I consider the Blair years and New Labour to be the greatest betrayal of Labour ideals in my lifetime.When I heard John McDonnell on Channel 4 news I heard again what has been missing for so many years. I`d never heard of him so looked him up and found this site too. I`ve moved in 4 minutes from ” who the hell is there to vote for?” to ” how can I help this man promote the views he was expressing and get a political movement around him. I see there is one already around leadership of the Labour Party. Count me in.
