I loved the Smiths but i find it hard to have much sympathy for morissey these days.His previous comments in the NME about lamenting the loss of white Britain and his increasingly oblique comments about race make me uneasy.Maybe i’m wrong and he’s just mis-understood but in days like these, who wants to sing songs like national front disco with any gusto? Bring back the Redskins x
Yeah Graham, I deliberated myself as Morrissey’s later views were utter racist bilge. But The Smiths were part of my formative years as a teenager and they really made an impact on me.
