      Cheers Chris. A sleepy owl standing on a branch. The lions made me laugh as they were just sound asleep woke up for a couple of seconds, had a look around then went back to zzzzz. The tiger was worse as never awoke once just stretched out lying under a wool blanket snoozing away. Same with many of the primates, they were hiding having a sleep.

      That’s the other thing….don’t visit just after they have been fed as they wander off for a nap (wish humans could do that after lunch when at work). Otters were all curled up on each other in their den, two made a brief appearance (see pic) but as someone said, ‘the otters look like they had a heavy partying night and now they are sleeping it off’… Quite!

      The animals that go on about cheap car insurance were standing to attention watching the world go round and the lemurs, like the penguins were just so darn cute, like the otters (awww factor!)
