Geared myself up to go to the next protest organised by UK Uncut at Oxford Street. Unfortunately, due to a blizzard in SE20 the privatised train service (and also the buses) decided to go kaput. It meant I couldn’t get to the protest 
which did piss me off as every time it bleeding snows the transport infrastructure collapses along with my local true blue Tory council spartan use of grit. So snow bound, if someone wants to send around a St Bernard pooch with a barrel of hot chocolate, cake and DVDs it will be gratefully received. My partner has it in his daft head that he will be able to get into the centre of London (Covent Garden) tomorrow to do some Xmas shopping. Good luck with that.
Highlight of the day was seeing a diesel passenger train, them were the days…….
