I am in Swansea at the moment, Gower Peninsula to be more exact. Was hoping to take some photos of the elusive choughs and wild rabbits. Didn’t see the birds but saw two wabbits chasing each other from a distance. Anyway here’s a selection of pix (excitable dogs and cheeky cats and some cows) I took on the many long walks I have taken so far to cleanse the soul, clear the cobwebs and forget about stressful world.

Do you think we could have some more pictures of the coastal path? I used to live in Swansea. Thanks for that.
Lovely pix, Louise. x
I go to Swansea sometimes, lots of nice empty beaches where I can take my dog in winter. Enjoy it!
You lucky thing. Try the cliff path from Mumbles to Caswell – a beautiful bay. Three Cliffs and Pwll-Ddu if you’re walking. Over Cefyn Bryn to the north coast is nice too – salt marshes and some pleasant pubs.
Not very ‘vibrant’, though – except the area round the Guildhall.
I was madly in love in Swansea in 82/32. It is still too nice and too sad to talk about it. The end of university is so difficult. I walked those coastal paths after my finals. My loved girlfriend broke up with me the day I finished my finals. How sad is that? I went to the beach the next day and got sunstroke and a cold. What a complete mess I was in my room alone with illness that complimented the biggest broken heart.
Even now it is too difficult to talk about it.
Lovely photos, Swansea is such a beautiful place. And I sympathise with Mr Divine.
